  1. Welcome to SoLaTor Suite 1 & 2 and SoLaTor Casino, written by Howard Patch.

  3. This program contains three groups of five solitaire games in three 
  4. .exe files.

  6. vbrun300.dll and ddeml.dll files are required to install these games

  9. SoLaTor Suite 1, version 2.0a, contains these five solitaire

  14. Matrimony
  15. Patience
  16. Thirteen

  18. SoLaTor Suite 2, version 2.0a, contains these five solitaire

  22. Double or Quits
  23. Eagle Wing
  24. Betsy Ross
  25. Osmosis

  27. SoLaTor Casino, version 1.0b, contains these five solitaire

  31. Even Money Black Jack
  32. Pai Gow Poker
  33. Cribbage Solitaire
  34. Acey Ducey

  36. They were written mainly for a 486DX, running Win95 at a resolution of 800x600, 256 Colors.  I've tested it out on Window 3.1 and other computers and at other resolutions, and have seen no problems.  If you have any comments or suggests you can contact me at:

  45. If you don't here sounds, 
  46. 1) Make sure that the .wav files are in the same directory as solator files
  47. 2) Make sure sounds are checked in the Game Option menu.
  48. 3) Contact me.

  50. You can use your own sounds by renaming your sounds files with the same name as the ones provided.

  52. If you have any comments or find any bugs, please contact me.  I'll do my best to added it to the next revision if I think others will would like it also.  Please be as specific as possible about what you want added.

  57. These programs are being issued as SHAREWARE ($5.00 US each).  Use at your own risk.  I will not be held responable for anything.  Period.

  62. If you like thess games please send $5.00 US for each to the address above for a registration number.  If you want me to send you the latest versions on diskette, send an additional $5.00.

  64. When you register and give me an e-mail address, you will be notified of any upgrades.  I will give you a regristration number for each game that is unique to you which will remove the nasty nag screen.  That 
  65. number will be good for all versions of that game.  I plan to write other volumes of SoLaTor Suites.  In the furture there will also be a super vga Suite that will include some additional games that don't fit on vga screens.  If you are the author of a windows game, I will gladly trade registered copies 
  66. of SoLaTor Suites for a registered copy of you game.  The number of Suites I write depends on the number of people that register this game.  So if you want more solitaire games, give the unregistered version to your friends or upload them to your favorite BBS, American-On-Line or CompuServe.
